Richard Caldwell to Appear as Guest on "Lets Brief It" Podcast

Richard D. Caldwell to appear on the Lets Brief It podcast on Thursday, December 17 from 10:45am- 11:30am, which will examine the conservatorship of Britney Spears and the #FreeBritney movement. Let’s Brief It is a podcast run by law students in conjunction with the DC Bar Association.

In 2008 at the age of 26 Britney Spears experienced a very public mental health crisis, with the California Superior Court granting her father, Jamie Spears, conservatorship rights temporarily. 12 years later this conservatorship is still in place with most of the records on the case sealed to the public. And what has Britney done in that time? Released 4 albums, went on world tours, had a residency in Vegas and played 248 shows in four years.
